Academic background, qualifications required for the position:

• High School Diploma;
• Completed training in one of the following courses: Mechanics; Mechanic, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or Mechatronics;
• Experience as a Maintenance Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance work on electric and/or combustion engines, as well as on traction batteries, trolleys, and chargers;
• Perform cleaning of machines, batteries, and accessories as defined in the preventive maintenance routine, and as needed according to planning/operation;
• Identify and request maintenance parts, accessories, and consumables, as well as perform upgrades of parts and components in older machines;
• Fill out forms (paper or electronic) for Service Orders, Maintenance Routines, Parts and Consumables Requests, as well as any technical documents requested by the Department/Operation;
• Use mechanical and electrical maintenance tools such as programming notebooks, digital multimeters, thermometers, connection cables, diagnostic tools, and IBI.
• Execute failure history analysis processes and perform programming of controllers and logic systems of multi-brand machines;
• Locate/Identify problems in machines through operational inspections using service manuals, electrical and hydraulic schematics, and service software, and perform corrective maintenance of any complexity;
• Execute reading of electrical and hydraulic schematics and drawings of material handling and storage machines.
