Maintenance Mechanic I

The Maintenance Mechanic I will be responsible for performing failure diagnostics on machines and equipment, executing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, developing and implementing improvement projects, documenting processes and results, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and collaborating with other departments to optimize operational efficiency and minimize production downtime.

The main activities will be:

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive mechanical maintenance;

• Conduct inspections, data collection, and execute patrol routines;

• Fill out activities and service orders in SAP;

• Know the work processes and quality management systems, respecting the code of conduct and confidentiality agreements;

• Comply with quality, environmental, health, and occupational safety management policies, as well as applicable norms and legislation;

• Propose and implement improvements in equipment and processes, aiming for cost reduction, increased safety, and decreased downtime;

• Identify the need for spare parts;

• Ensure the preservation, cleanliness, and maintenance of appliances, as well as the safekeeping of tools and equipment;

• Prepare work reports.

Requirements for the position:

• Complete technical training in Mechanics, Electromechanics, or related fields;

• Knowledge in hydraulics and pneumatics;

• Knowledge in mechanical technical drawing (geometric solids, perspective, cutaway views, assembly drawings, dimensional and geometric tolerance);

• Knowledge in measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, dial indicator and probe, bore gauge, etc.).
