Job description
What will be your main missions?
As a Heavy Truck Mechanic, you and your colleagues are responsible for:
- To perform routine maintenance on vehicles: cleaning, draining, greasing
- To disassemble various organs to verify their functioning and/or wear
- To replace worn-out parts (brake system, exhaust system, pneumatic suspension, various filters, shock absorbers, electrical cables, brake pads and discs, etc.)
- To diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic failures
- To intervene on various vehicle elements such as hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity or electronics
- To perform various adjustments and fine-tunings (engine, organs and specific equipment)
- To prepare vehicles for technical inspections
- To ensure breakdown assistance in the workshop but also on the road
- To complete the daily intervention report sheet
