HEAVY GOODS VEHICLE AND MACHINERY MECHANIC (M/F)

The position of HEAVY GOODS VEHICLE AND MACHINERY MECHANIC (M/F) You will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of Heavy Goods Vehicles, public works machinery, urban cleaning equipment, as well as agricultural machinery within the workshop located at the Cotonnière site or directly on the sites of the Caen la mer Urban Community. You will work on various systems and circuits (hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical), and you know how to detect and diagnose breakdowns by identifying the parts that need to be replaced or repaired. You also carry out preventative maintenance operations. You will be responsible for the availability and good condition of the fleet. The tasks include: - Carrying out all maintenance and repair operations on vehicles and equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic) - Carrying out diagnostic operations using appropriate tools - Performing preventative maintenance - Carrying out geometric control and adjustments - Performing vehicle preparation operations - Using diagnostic and repair equipment - Ensuring compliance with safety regulations - Participating in the management of spare parts stock. Profile sought: You have a diploma in mechanical maintenance, agricultural machinery, or public works machinery (Bac Pro, BTS, etc.) or equivalent experience. You have proven experience in a similar position. You have good knowledge of the specificities of heavy goods vehicles and public works machinery. You are autonomous, rigorous and have a good sense of organization. You have good manual skills and are resourceful. You are committed to quality and customer satisfaction.
