Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Main Functions :

• Assemble and prepare agricultural machinery according to supplier quotes
• Research technical information on agricultural machinery
• Verify the functioning of electrical and electronic systems
• Maintain and repair essential electrical systems and comfort devices for agricultural machinery
• Perform welding, cutting, and heating work
• Verify the functioning of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Maintain and repair mechanical systems and power transmission, steering, and braking systems for agricultural machinery
• Maintain and repair clutch, gearbox, and manual transmission on a tractor
• Maintain and repair diesel engine on an agricultural machine
• Verify the functioning of computer-controlled base systems
• Adjust the functioning of electronic control systems for agricultural machinery
• Maintain and repair fuel and exhaust systems for a diesel engine
• Maintain and repair hydraulic systems on a tractor
• Maintain and repair soil preparation, production, and processing systems for crops
• Maintain and repair haymaking and silage systems
• Maintain and repair baler and wrapper systems
• Maintain and repair combine harvester systems
• Maintain and replace hydraulic transmissions on agricultural machinery
• Detect and research information using a computer
• Maintain and replace hydraulic transmissions on agricultural machinery
• Maintain and repair hydraulic transmission on agricultural machinery
• Respect health, safety at work, and environmental protection requirements
• Perform all workshop maintenance and upkeep tasks
• Participate in various training sessions

Requirements and Working Conditions :

Degree level: DEP in agricultural mechanics or heavy machinery / Mechanical training with experience
Years of experience related to the job: 5 years or more of experience
Valid driving permit
