MBO/HBO Nurse

You are a nurse who brings calm and stability in situations where clients need intensive care and guidance? In psychiatry, you provide care to clients in crisis, within an environment that offers them a safe and trusted place. You understand how important your role is in guiding and caring for clients during intense moments, and you are able to ensure structure and safety.

Your target group: HIC

You work with clients who struggle with schizophrenia and other severe psychiatric disorders. Often they are admitted due to an acute decompensation or crisis, where intensive guidance, good observation, and rapid intervention are essential. You know how to recognize signals of decompensation, how to de-escalate, and how to create a safe environment where clients can stabilize.

What will you do?

As a nurse, you support clients during their psychiatric crisis for which they need admission. You provide them with an environment where calm and safety are central and help them cope with their emotions and behavior. Together with a multidisciplinary team, you ensure that clients receive the care they need to stabilize. You observe, signal, and know how to act quickly and adequately when situations escalate. It may be that you guide clients in daily activities, support them in building a daily structure, or help them gain insight into their recovery process.

• Salaris Conform CAO GGZ from 4494 to 5395 per month based on full-time and an hourly wage from 28.35 to 34.02inclusief vakantiegeld, vakantiedagen en eindejaarsuitkering. Inschaling dependent on your education level and experience.

You have it

• A completed MBO-4 or HBO education in the field of care or well-being.
• Good communication skills and the ability to quickly adapt.
• A calm and professional demeanor, even under pressure, which allows you to provide clients with the necessary calm and safety.
• Experience within psychiatry is a plus
