GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Mathematics Teacher to join an energetic school community in Derby. You’ll play a key role in developing students’ confidence in numerical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving..

Role Responsibilities for Mathematics Teacher:

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages.
• Teach a variety of mathematical topics, such as algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus.
• Encourage students to develop an interest in mathematics and strong logical reasoning skills.
• Track pupil progress, offer constructive feedback, and support their academic success.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to strengthen curriculum delivery and share effective teaching approaches.

What You’ll Bring as a Mathematics Teacher:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Mathematics in a school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management skills.
• Creativity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for engaging students in learning Maths.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
