Maternal Mental Health Clinician (1 FTE) – Hauraki PHO – 1-year fixed term role Are you passionate about supporting pregnant mothers and families in rural Waikato/Hauraki? Hauraki Primary Health Organisation is seeking a Registered Mental Health Clinician to provide clinical support and oversight within our Kaupapa Māori maternal and infant mental health service. You’ll play a key role in: Providing clinical assessments and support to mothers experiencing maternal mental distress Offering guidance and support to whānau and other support people Working collaboratively with other health professionals to ensure integrated care Completing all required clinical documentation and data entry in a timely manner Providing clinical supervision and mentoring to other team members and students if required Requirements: Registered Mental Health Clinician with current APC (Annual Practicing Certificate) Experience in mental health assessment and intervention, preferably in maternal mental health Ability to work effectively with Māori whānau and communities Knowledge and understanding of Kaupapa Māori principles Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full driver’s license and own vehicle Commitment to ongoing professional development Benefits: Opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of mothers and their whānau Supportive and collaborative team environment Professional development opportunities Competitive salary package How to apply: Please submit your CV and cover letter outlining your experience and suitability for the role to [email protected] Applications close: [Date] Māori applicants are encouraged to apply.
