Materials Manager

Amphenol TCS is seeking a dedicated and experienced Materials and Planning Manager to oversee our materials scheduling and procurement processes. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient operations and cost reduction within our production environment. The Materials Manager will drive rapid scale-up of material planning, procurement, warehousing, and invoicing operations to support high-volume production and aggressive growth targets. This role demands a strategic leader who can accelerate supply chain optimization, streamline logistics, and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production requirements. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing effective material planning strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve delivery times. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize material needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives. • Building strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. • Analyzing and interpreting data to inform material planning decisions, identifying trends, and optimizing processes. • Developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure material planning effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field, and at least 5 years of experience in materials management, procurement, or logistics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is required.
