About the Position

We are looking for a Material Tester / NDT Expert (m/f/d) for next-ray by Oehm & Rehbein.
You will work on digital X-ray systems, accompany customers during commissioning, training, and support, and contribute your experience in non-destructive testing. The location is Rostock, and employment is through Oehm & Rehbein GmbH.

Requirements

Completed degree in engineering or comparable background
Experience as a material tester in the field of NDT
Ideally, knowledge or expertise in X-ray inspection
Enjoy interacting with customers and conveying technical content
English skills are desirable
Enjoy regular exchange with relevant specialist departments
Proactiveness and enthusiasm for co-design and innovation
Proficient in Windows environments, network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, Remote Tools)
Initial experience with DICOM or DICONDE welcome
Intercultural sensitivity and clear written communication skills

Area of Responsibility

Support in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software malfunctions on digital X-ray systems, including support of the software suite (acquisition software, PACS/DICONDE integration, cloud archiving)
Management of repair and RMA processing with the internal repair team and sub-suppliers
Conducting factory training in Rostock as well as commissioning and training at customer sites worldwide
Creation and maintenance of operating and maintenance manuals, service documents, and training materials
Technical contribution to tender responses and RFI/RFQ specifications
Conducting and supporting non-destructive testing (NDT), especially in the context of material testing
Support for product demos and presentation of our solutions to customers
Participation in the further development of our products and processes
Carrying out external assignments within the agreed scope (travel share approx. 10-20%)
Customer support and consultation, as well as assistance with technical inquiries
