Material Inspector / NDT Expert (m/w/d)

About the Position
We are looking for a Material Inspector / NDT Expert (m/w/d) at next-ray by Oehm & Rehbein.
You will work on digital X-ray systems, accompany customers during commissioning, training, and support, and bring your experience in non-destructive testing to the table. The location is Rostock, and the employment will be through Oehm & Rehbein GmbH.
Requirements
- A completed degree in engineering or comparable background
- Experience as a material inspector in the field of ZfP
- Ideal knowledge or expertise in the area of X-ray testing
- Pleasure in dealing with customers and conveying technical content
- English skills are desirable
- Pleasure in regular exchange with relevant departments
- Eigeninitiative and enthusiasm for co-creation and innovation
- Safety in Windows environments, network basics (TCP/IP, VPN, Remote Tools)
- First contact with DICOM or DICONDE welcome
- Inter-cultural sensitivity and clear written expression
Field of Activity
- Support in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues on digital X-ray systems, including software suite (acquisition software, PACS/DICONDE connection, cloud archiving)
- Steering the repair and RMA processing with internal repair team and subcontractors
- Conducting workshops in Rostock as well as commissionings and training at customer sites worldwide
- Creating and maintaining operating instructions, service documents, and training materials
- Technical support in tender responses and RFI/RFQ specifications
- Conducting and supporting non-destructive testing (ZfP), particularly in the context of material inspection
- Support during product demos as well as presenting our solutions to customers
- Participation in developing our products and processes
- Carrying out external assignments within a predetermined framework (travel component approximately 10-20%)
- Caring for and advising customers, as well as supporting technical inquiries
