Artificial intelligence is increasingly changing the way companies work and design business processes. We want to actively shape this development and are therefore building an agentic AI system that supports various business areas and makes collaboration between teams more efficient.

To support this innovative project, we are looking for a dedicated Master's student for a thesis or a working student (m/f/d) with an interest in Artificial Intelligence, software development, and multi-agent systems.

What awaits you

• Multi-Agent Architecture: Conception of how agents divide work, hand over tasks, and share context.

• Agent Configuration: Definition of agents via structured Markdown files and evaluation of how specialized ('fine-tuned') an agent should be.

• Extensions and Integrations: Development of extensions and connection of internal and external systems via API keys.

• Agentic Coding: Development of agentic coding functions – one or more collaborating AI agents that plan, write, test, and review code directly in our development environment.

• Guidelines: Creation of security, extension security, and coding guidelines for the development and operation of the agents.

• Token Optimization: Measurement and reduction of token consumption and costs through context management, caching, and model selection.

• Change Management: Concept for knowledge transfer, rollout, and acceptance so that the agents are integrated into processes and teams.

• Documentation: Preparation and presentation of results for stakeholders.

What we are looking for

• Master's student (for thesis) or enrolled as a working student in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a related field

• Demonstrable practical experience in software development from projects, jobs, or open source (e.g., Python or TypeScript, Git, REST APIs)

• Practical AI experience, e.g., with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted programming

• Independent, structured way of working

• Very good German and English skills

• Experience with agentic workflows or frameworks (e.g., MCP, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen)

• Knowledge of agentic coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Cline, or Claude Code)

• Interest in organizational topics such as change management and knowledge transfer

• Basic understanding of software security
