CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: At Clorox, the Master Data Analyst plays a critical role at the heart of our supply chain and product lifecycle. This position sits on the front lines of product lifecycle management, managing and maintaining the integrity of our master data. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of the product data that fuels our business systems. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, R&D, Marketing, and IT, to ensure master data aligns with business needs and strategies. This position reports to the Master Data Manager. What you’ll do: * Maintain and govern master data for product attributes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems. * Onboard new products and manage changes to existing products within master data systems. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues. * Develop and maintain data governance processes and procedures. * Conduct data analysis and reporting to monitor data quality and identify areas for improvement. * Participate in system implementations and upgrades, ensuring master data is properly migrated and integrated. * Provide training and support to end-users on master data processes and systems. * Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata documentation. * Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in master data management. * Assist with data cleansing activities to improve data quality. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of master data processes and systems. * Support data-related projects and initiatives as needed. Key Responsibilities: * Master Data Management: Manage and maintain the integrity of master data across various systems. * Data Quality: Monitor and improve data quality through data cleansing, validation, and standardization. * Data Governance: Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures. * Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams to ensure data alignment and consistency. * Project Support: Assist with data-related projects and initiatives. What you’ll need to be successful: * Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems). * 3+ years of experience in master data management or data analysis. * Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices. * Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred. * Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI). * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience with data cleansing and data quality tools. * Knowledge of product lifecycle management processes.
