Marketplace Account Director
Job description
- Strategic Marketplace Management: Develop and implement comprehensive marketplace strategies tailored to the unique needs and objectives of each client, with a strong emphasis on driving growth and profitability.
- Optimisation Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of each marketplace ecosystem to optimise client performance. This includes expert management of marketplace SEO, PPC campaigns, product content, listing imagery through effective collaboration with the design team, and overall selling strategy.
- Manage Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients, providing proactive communication, strategic guidance, and exceptional service.
- Performance Analysis and Reporting: Conduct detailed analysis of marketplace performance data, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Generate clear, actionable reports and present findings to clients with strategic recommendations.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day management of client marketplace accounts, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This includes product listing optimisation, inventory management, pricing strategy, and order fulfilment.
- Marketplace Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing and optimising client accounts on online marketplaces, with a track record of success.
- Amazon Optimisation Skills: Strong expertise in optimising client performance on Amazon, including Amazon SEO, Amazon PPC, product content optimisation, and Seller Central management.
- Client-Centric Approach: A strong client-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term, strategic partnerships.
- Strategic Thinking and Execution: Ability to develop and implement effective marketplace strategies that align with client business objectives and drive measurable results.
- Analytical and Data-Driven: Strong analytical and data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
- Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to address challenges effectively and make sound judgments.
- E-commerce Knowledge: Solid understanding of e-commerce principles, practices, and technologies.
- Organisational and Time Management Proficiency: Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain a high level of efficiency.
