Marketing Manager*in for Sport- and Association Affairs (all genders welcome), VZ, Berlin, hybrid

Your Mission:

As Marketing Manager*in in the field of local sports and association affairs, you develop, steer, and optimize creative marketing campaigns to make our unique sticker albums more visible in the club world. You understand the needs and interests of athletes, club members, and volunteers along their entire customer journey and set targeted, effective measures to strengthen brand awareness locally and increase participation in our projects sustainably.

Tasks

Tasks:

• You take over the responsibility for the strategic and operational marketing of our “local” sports and association projects: conception, planning, and implementation of campaigns across all relevant channels (Social Media, Paid Media, Owned & Earned Media)
• You create, process, and utilize content from our clubs - texts, videos, graphics - together with the Content Team
• You care for and drive the development of our social media channels, as well as full participation in developing new formats and contents
• You work closely with our LOKAL-Team, caring for customer projects in all marketing matters
• You conceive and steer independent, effective marketing campaigns, care for our partners professionally, win new cooperations, and ensure a smooth implementation and dissemination of all media services.
• You monitor the market, competition, trends, and bring continuous new ideas into play

Qualification

Professional Competences:

• First practical experience (ca. 1-2 years) in marketing – e.g., in agencies, start-ups or companies, preferably with reference to sports, clubs or communities
• You have a good storytelling sense: You have an eye for design and understand how brands emotionally resonate
• New curiosity about new trends, formats, and channels – you try things out and think outside the box of classical marketing paths
• First experience with performance marketing & Paid Ads (e.g., Meta, Google, LinkedIn) and a desire to further develop this area
• Experience in conceiving, implementing, and analyzing marketing campaigns and an understanding of how successes can be measured
• A basic understanding of data-driven marketing and the ability to translate numbers into meaningful measures
