Job description

About Vestlane

Vestlane is *the* platform for onboarding, KYC/AML, and tax compliance for private market funds. Fund managers and fund administrators across Europe handle their KYC, AML, and subscription processes via Vestlane, in over 14 jurisdictions and across the entire investor lifecycle. We are certified and built for the regulatory reality of exciting acronyms – from GwG, BaFin, AMLR, RTS, CSSF to DORA, RAIF, AIFMD, MiFID, and many more.

You have a few years of B2B marketing experience and now want to truly be responsible for channels instead of just supporting them? You want to get to know the world of Venture Capital and Private Equity from the inside without sitting in a fund yourself? You can write, think in target groups instead of posts, and find it appealing to turn GwG and CSSF circulars into content that compliance officers actually read? You conduct marketing with AI tools and data instead of a scattergun approach? Then this role is for you!

As Marketing Manager, you will work directly with our COO, who is responsible for go-to-market, and in close coordination with our CEO. You will take over the marketing topics that are on his desk today – from content and SEO to LinkedIn and newsletters, to website and events – and will be close to every decision that moves our positioning. Colleagues from Regulatory, Design, and Customer Success will provide you with expertise, graphics, and customer testimonials. Real responsibility for your own channels from day one, short lines to management, no agency loops. Your workplace is our office in Bonn, with flexible home office arrangements.

Your Tasks

  • Content that gets read: You plan and write blog articles, landing pages, and expert contributions on KYC/AML, AMLR, fund regulation, and our product features – in German and English, technically sound, understandable, and with attitude.

  • Responsibility for SEO and GEO: You build on our existing rankings, further develop the keyword strategy, and ensure that Vestlane is also found where searches are happening today.

  • Manage LinkedIn and Newsletters: You manage the company page, prepare posts for management, and are responsible for our regulatory and product newsletter from topic planning to distribution.

  • Further develop the website: You maintain and expand vestlane.com in our CMS (Storyblok), brief design, test new pages, and measure what works.

  • Success Stories and Events: You collect customer testimonials together with Customer Success, turn them into case studies, and are responsible for the pre- and post-marketing of events, webinars, and partner announcements.

  • Build the Marketing Engine: You structure content planning, tracking, and reporting, build AI workflows for research, drafts, and distribution, and show with numbers which measures bring pipeline.

Your Profile

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally in SaaS, finance, or Legal/RegTech environments. You have already independently managed at least one channel (content, SEO, LinkedIn, or newsletter) and can show what resulted from it.

  • You write very well in German and English: clearly, precisely, without buzzword fog. You can explain a complex issue in three sentences and sharpen it into a post.

  • Solid SEO knowledge (keyword research, on-page, content structure, tracking) and a genuine interest in Generative Engine Optimization. Experience with a CMS, LinkedIn Company Pages, and a newsletter tool.

  • You naturally use AI tools in your daily work for research, drafts, and analysis, and know where you need to refine them yourself.

  • You like numbers: You want to know if your article is ranking, if the newsletter is being opened, and what's coming into the CRM from it.

  • Interest in financial regulation and compliance. You don't have to be a GwG expert, but you need to be eager to dive in – you'll get technical knowledge from colleagues who work with it every day.

  • You see yourself as an entrepreneur within Vestlane, not as a content supplier. You want responsibility today and leadership tomorrow, and you want to earn both by building something.

Your Benefits

  • Own channels and topics from day one, with a clear development path towards more responsibility in marketing

  • Direct collaboration with COO and CEO, short decision-making paths, no agency loops

  • Full-time, permanent, start immediately possible

  • Competitive salary package

  • 30 days of vacation

  • Paid further training and certifications

  • Workplace in our Bonn office, flexible working hours and home office arrangements

  • Modern tools and AI in daily use

  • A team that takes compliance seriously because compliance is the product, not a cost factor

Conclusion

We look forward to receiving your CV and two to three work samples (articles, posts, landing pages, newsletters – whatever shows how you work). We don't need a classic cover letter; a few sentences about why marketing for a RegTech appeals to you are sufficient. We review your application personally and will get back to you within two weeks.

The process is deliberately short and has three steps: a 30-minute introductory conversation about you, your journey, and whether we are a good fit. Then a 45-minute appointment with a practical task from everyday life – for example, a LinkedIn post on a regulatory topic – so you can see what awaits you, and we can see how you work. Finally, a 30-minute conversation with management. In total, less than two hours of your time, and you will receive prompt feedback after each step.
