Marketing Manager

The a.s.s. concerts & promotion gmbh company, located in Hamburg, has been one of the established and successful tour promoters in Germany for 45 years. Since its founding, the company has continuously expanded and developed its staff, turnover, and areas of work. In addition to its core business as a booking agency and tour promoter for rock, pop, folk, jazz, and world music artists, the department for local events in Hamburg & NRW is also part of a.s.s. concerts

Aufgaben

Marketing & PR

Where: Hamburg
When: As soon as possible
Scope: Full-time/part-time (at least 30 hours)

The following tasks would be yours:

• Accompanying in-house tours with media work and marketing from the pre-sale start to the last concert
• Aquiring cooperation partners, maintaining the PR network, and distributing newsletters
• Maintaining the agency's website with all artist pages from the roster as well as local events
• Maintaining & designing our social media channels and -events
• Coordinating interviews, continuous communication with management, media partners, and artists
• Controlling and supporting marketing measures for local event organizers (press releases, posters, flyers, ads, radio cooperation)
• Writing press releases, newsletters, and marketing texts (ads, social media posts)
• Creating press clippings, tour trailers, contracts, and marketing plans

Qualifikation

This is what we expect from you:

• A completed education or degree in the field of communication/marketing or event management/culture management or comparable fields
• Exceptional interest in concerts, music, and events
• Self-reliant, fast-paced, and precise work style, as well as
• Eigeninitiative, team spirit, engagement, and motivation
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking, security and creativity in writing for various occasions
• Familiarity with MS Office
• Good knowledge of image and video editing desired
• Good knowledge of social media desired
• Professional experience in the field of PR/marketing required
