Who We Are

National Instructors and Coaches Association (NICA) is the collective voice of coaches and instructors in Singapore since 2019. We have been championing fair contracting, timely payment, dispute resolution/ mediation, work safety, and sustainable careers for freelance coaches and instructors in the field of Sports & Outdoor Learning, Fitness & Wellness, Visual & Performing Arts, and Lifestyle & Enrichment.

Internship with NICA

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Marketing Collaterals

• Create visually appealing and engaging marketing materials such as flyers, posters, banners, social media content (reels etc.), and brochures for NICA events and campaigns.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure materials align with NICA’s brand identity and messaging.

Event Outreach Marketing

• Brainstorm and execute innovative ways to market NICA at roadshows, community events, and outreach activities.
• Work together with staff to come up with ways to attract and engage event attendees, such as interactive booths, and giveaways.
• Create presentations or videos to showcase NICA’s initiatives and benefits when we meet stakeholders.

Content Creation and Social Media

• Assist in managing NICA’s social media accounts and website by creating and scheduling posts, stories, and event highlights.
• Support the team in developing campaigns to grow social media engagement and followers.

Event Support

• Assist in setting up and managing marketing activities during NICA events.
• Support logistics for marketing efforts, such as preparing materials and ensuring smooth execution.

The individual should be proficient in design applications like Canva and possess good communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders. They should be proactive, adaptable, and able to collaborate in a dynamic environment.
