Marketing Assistant

Woods & Co is excited to partner with a progressive organisation that manages award-winning aquatic, fitness, and recreation facilities on the Mornington Peninsula. We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to support their vibrant and fast-paced marketing team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about digital and social media marketing, content creation, and community engagement. The successful candidate will play a hands-on role across organic and paid campaigns, event support, digital communications, and stakeholder engagement. Key responsibilities will include: • Developing and implementing marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, and print; • Creating engaging content for various platforms, including blog posts, social media posts, and email newsletters; • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute event marketing strategies; • Providing administrative support to the marketing team, including data entry, report preparation, and other tasks as required; • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and community groups; • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital marketing and social media; • Participating in brainstorming sessions and contributing to the development of innovative marketing ideas; • Working closely with the marketing team to ensure seamless integration of marketing efforts across all channels; • Providing exceptional customer service and responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner; • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of marketing activities, including campaign metrics and customer engagement; • Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the development of marketing strategies and initiatives; • Performing other duties as required, including special projects and tasks assigned by the marketing team leader. The ideal candidate will have a degree in marketing, public relations, or a related field, and will have a strong understanding of digital marketing principles and social media platforms. They will be highly organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
