Maritime Steward (a)

The tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain and control clean and sufficient bedding, tablecloths, and bathroom linens.
• Control utensils for use, personal hygiene materials, and perform common area cleaning and cabin maintenance.
• Verify the validity of provisions and maintain accurate records, cleanliness, and conservation of areas such as kitchens, dining rooms, refrigerated storage, and pantries.
• Daily or as needed higienization of utensils and equipment used.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance control of cabins and dependencies.
• Work in partnership with the outsourced hotel team, if applicable.
• Comply with company standards, report irregularities, and ensure that services are executed with quality and within deadlines.
• Auxiliary or substitute chef, preparing meals such as breakfast, snacks, and lunches.
• FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES OF THE GOOD PRACTICES MANUAL FOR PREPARATION AND HYGIENIZATION.
• Comply with safety and hygiene standards, using uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

Requirements

Necessary Education:

• Completed High School;
• Maritime Aquaviary Training;
• Certified TBS, EBCP, STCW valid certificates;

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

• Experience in the function and in maritime support units.
