MaRisk Compliance Officer (m/w/d) Full-time

Tasks

• You will take over the function of MaRisk Compliance Officer of Volksbank West Munsterland as part of a succession arrangement and occupy one of the key control units in the bank.
• You are organizationally integrated into the Executive Board staff department and support the department head in coordinating the further functions established within the company with compliance-relevant tasks.
• You are responsible for monitoring MaRisk guidelines and other regulatory requirements - with a clear view of what's essential.
• You identify and analyze regularly and on an as-needed basis the key legal regulations and guidelines.
• You review and evaluate the implementation of compliance-relevant guidelines into the organizational instructions of Volksbank and are actively involved in the change processes of the departments.
• You advise the Executive Board and departments on regulatory topics and accompany the implementation and implementation of new and changed requirements.
• You are responsible for annual and as-needed reporting to management. You report directly to the Chairman of the Executive Board.
• You will take over the absentee representation of the WpHG Compliance Officer.

Qualification

• A completed degree in economics, law or a comparable qualification.
• Fundamental knowledge of MaRisk and relevant regulatory provisions.
• Multiple years of professional experience in the field of bank compliance.
• Analytical thinking, structured working methods and a high level of personal responsibility.
• Outstanding communication skills and a confident demeanor towards internal and external partners.
• Comprehensive methodological competence for creating presentations, informative reports and compliance-relevant documentation.
• A future-oriented safe handling of compliance management systems, using the possibilities of AI as well as common office programs.
• Your working style is characterized by discretion, integrity, a high level of responsibility awareness, reliability and professional demeanor.
