Marine Operator (0074 May 2024)

At Royal Ocean Marine, we are currently seeking a Marine Operator to join our client's team. As a Marine Operator, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the safe and efficient operation of marine vessels. You will work closely with vessel crews, shore-based teams, and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of operations. Responsibilities Monitor and track vessels/trucks/bunker barges/STS movements, including arrivals, departures, and transit. Coordinate communication between vessels, shore-based teams, and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Provide support to vessel crews during operations. Identify and report any issues or concerns related to vessel operations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., marine engineering, naval architecture). 2+ years of experience as a Marine Operator or similar role. Strong understanding of maritime operations, including navigation, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
