MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRIC TRACTION SYSTEMS

Overview


ATM, a historic public transport operator in Milan and the metropolitan area, is today among the leaders in sustainable mobility in Europe, bringing excellence and change to Denmark and Greece as well.

However, we don't just deal with local public transport! In fact, the staff of the Systems Directorate monitors and maintains traction systems to ensure the safety and efficiency of the service.

With a view to continuous improvement of our services, we are therefore looking for people to be assigned to the maintenance of traction systems to join our team.


Main Activities


• Preventive and corrective maintenance of Electric Traction systems related to tram, metro, and trolleybus systems (overhead contact line, disconnectors, signaling systems, etc.);

• Construction of Electric Traction systems, also for the same systems;

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of power cables, support poles, and switch heating systems.


Required Qualifications


• Professional certificate or diploma in electrical, electrotechnical, or electromechanical fields.

• Possession of a Category B driving license;

• Willingness to work in shifts, including night shifts, according to service needs.


Profile Completes


• Knowledge of electrical systems and theory of electrical engineering and mechanics;

• Safety skills (use of PPE for working at heights, PPE for electrical risk, and knowledge of regulatory principles);

• Possession of a Category C driving license;

• Seriousness, reliability, and precision;

• Aptitude for teamwork.


What We Offer


• Permanent contract;

• 13th and 14th month salary;

Gross annual salary starting from approximately €27,500 to €34,000;

• Free travel pass on ATM vehicles;

• Canteen service.

The employment relationship will be governed by Royal Decree 148/1931 and the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Public Transport Workers (CCNL Autoferrotranvieri).

Furthermore, possession of the requirements referred to in Article 1 or belonging to the protected categories referred to in Article 18 of Law 68/99 shall constitute preferential qualifications.
