MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

The selected resource, under the direct responsibility of the Site Maintenance Manager, will be responsible for the following tasks, potentially also with the support of external companies.

• Perform ordinary, extraordinary, and preventive maintenance interventions on production plants and machinery
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults
• Carry out fault finding and restoration of plant functionality activities
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Intervene on mechanical components (motors, gearboxes, transmissions, bearings)
• Collaborate with the production team to minimize machine downtime
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations during maintenance activities

Requirements

• Technical diploma
• Experience in the role, gained in industrial/manufacturing contexts
• Operational knowledge in the mechanical field
• Ability to read mechanical drawings
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Teamwork attitude and operational flexibility

• Gross monthly salary: EUR 2000 - 2800
• Type of contract: Permanent contract

• Applicable National Collective Labour Agreement: FOOD INDUSTRY - Manufacturing
• Place of work: GARBAGNATE MONASTERO (LC)
• Working hours availability: Full Time 40 hours per week distributed from Monday to Friday, on two shifts (06-14 / 14-22) and day shift (07-16); with possibility of overtime on Saturday mornings and occasional on-call duty depending on team needs
