Job Description Summary The Manufacturing Engineer - NPI is responsible for the timely development and industrialization of Component Repair New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, working with relevant functional teams, and ensuring safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives are met. Job Description Responsibilities: The Manufacturing Engineer - NPI will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: • Developing and implementing manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure timely and cost-effective production of new product introductions (NPIs). • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and supply chain to ensure successful project execution. • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies. • Providing technical support and guidance to manufacturing operations as needed. • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as necessary. Job Description Requirements: The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry. • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and tools. • Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA). • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and six sigma methodologies. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
