Manufacturing Engineer

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer – Tool design Location: Rochester Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on skills and knowledge What you’ll be doing: Communicating with stakeholders to gain an understanding on design requirements Interpreting engineering drawings, models, and specifications, applying GD&T principles correctly Produce engineering drawings for manufacture and inspection Using Creo Parametric to design 3D models and assemblies Working closely with machinists, engineers, and quality personnel to ensure designs meet manufacturing and quality standards Developing and maintaining tooling designs, including fixtures, jigs, and gauges Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements Utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 2D and 3D models, assemblies, and drawings Providing technical support and guidance to production staff on manufacturing processes and procedures Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in manufacturing engineering
