Manual Machinist / Toolmaker – Precision Engineering

Are you a skilled machinist with toolmaking experience looking for a rewarding role in a high quality engineering environment? We’re looking for a Manual Machinist to join a well known aerospace company.

What you’ll do:

• Set up and operate Jig Bores, lathes and mills.

• Produce precision components from drawings to tight tolerances.

• Apply toolmaking expertise for jigs, fixtures, and bespoke parts.

• Inspect work using a variety of measuring equipment (micrometers, gauges, etc.).

• Work independently while contributing to a small, supportive team.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong background in manual machining.

• Toolmaking experience.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

• A focus on accuracy, quality, and pride in your workmanship.

• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
