Job description
Job Description:We are looking for a skilled Manual and Automation Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual testing with proven experience writing detailed test cases and should also have some hands-on experience in automation testing to enhance the overall test coverage.Responsibilities:
- Manual Testing:
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test cases for functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, and work with development teams to resolve them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and product managers to understand and clarify requirements.
- Perform UI/UX, cross-browser, and compatibility testing for web and mobile applications.
- Ensure adherence to testing standards and QA best practices throughout the development cycle.
- Automation Testing:
- Design and implement automation test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to increase efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Conduct performance and load testing to validate application behavior under various conditions.
- 2-3 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
- Experience in writing detailed test cases and executing manual tests across multiple platforms.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in mobile testing and automation.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
- ISTQB certification or relevant qualifications are a plus.
