We offer expertise in Medical Interpretation through Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) services, ensuring seamless communication in healthcare sectors. Role Description This is a full-time remote Entry Level English-Mandarin Medical OPI/VRI role. The Medical Interpreter will be responsible for providing accurate consecutive over-the-phone and video remote interpretation between English and Mandarin speakers, including patients, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities * Accurately interpret medical terminology, procedures, and discussions. * Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations. * Provide excellent customer service and communication skills. * Adhere to professional code of ethics and standards of practice. * Adapt to different communication styles and cultural sensitivities. Qualifications * Fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken). * High school diploma or equivalent. * Completion of a medical interpreting training program (preferred). * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience in medical interpretation (preferred).
