These properties are primarily occupied and leased by businesses within our Group, contributing to our overall operational efficiency and profitability. Job Summary: The Managing Director - Properties will have full operational and financial responsibility for the Group’s property portfolio. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive value from the existing assets, manage associated risks, and identify opportunities for future growth. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee the management and performance of the property portfolio, ensuring optimal occupancy rates, rental income, and property values. * Develop and implement strategic plans for the property portfolio, including acquisition, disposal, and redevelopment strategies. * Lead and mentor a team of property professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring effective collaboration. * Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, contractors, and regulatory bodies. * Oversee all financial aspects of the property portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. * Identify and mitigate risks associated with the property portfolio, including market, operational, and regulatory risks. * Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. * Identify and evaluate opportunities for property portfolio growth, including acquisitions and developments. * Drive sustainable practices and initiatives within the property portfolio. Qualifications: * Proven experience in a senior management role within the property sector. * Strong understanding of property markets, including commercial, industrial, and retail properties. * Excellent financial and commercial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. * Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. * Experience in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. * Sound knowledge of property regulations and standards. * Experience in identifying and evaluating property investment opportunities.
