Managing Director (m/w/d) Finance Solutions

Must you a specialized finance and BI company strategically lead and actively participate in projects?

In this role, you will take over the overall responsible leadership of a specialized company in the finance and BI field. You shape the strategic orientation, lead the team, and accompany active projects with customers in the areas of financial planning, reporting, and consolidation solutions. As both an operational consulting expert and central leadership figure, you steer the further development of customer projects, processes, and market strategy.

Your Tasks as Managing Director Finance & BI

• Strategic and operational further development of the company together with the existing team, including active participation in projects

• Overall responsibility for customer projects in the areas of finance, reporting, corporate planning, and consolidation, including professional involvement with customers

• Counseling customers at management level on business process issues, data-driven solutions, and operational questions

• Accompanying complex projects from conception to implementation, including practical participation and steering

• Steering and further development of existing customer relationships as well as support for presales and pitch activities

• Shaping solution architectures and professional concepts in the finance, BI, and planning fields

• Fostering, coaching, and further developing the team to secure operational excellence and strategic goals

• Shaping market positioning, growth, and future corporate strategy

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in the field of business administration, finance, controlling, economics, or related fields

• At least 5 years of experience in finance, controlling, reporting, corporate planning, and consolidation, including several years in a leadership position with responsibility for teams or projects

• Experience in consulting, project consulting, or implementation projects, particularly in finance and BI fields, is advantageous

• Entrepreneurial thinking combined with enthusiasm for active customer counseling and operational project work

• Analytical and structured working style with high self-responsibility

• Techical understanding of the field BI, data models, or planning solutions is advantageous

• Very good German language skills for communication with team and customers

• Travel readiness and flexibility for customer meetings and project accompaniment
