Managing Director (m/f/d) Finance & BI

Do you want to strategically lead a specialized Finance and BI company while actively participating in projects?

In this role, you will take on the overall responsibility for a specialized company in the Finance and BI environment. You will shape the strategic direction, lead the team, and actively support client projects in the areas of financial planning, reporting, and consolidation solutions. You will be both an operational consultant and a central leader, steering the further development of client projects, processes, and market strategy.

Your Tasks as Managing Director Finance & BI

• Strategic and operational development of the company together with the existing team, including active participation in projects

• Overall responsibility for client projects in the areas of Finance, Reporting, Corporate Planning, and Consolidation, including technical involvement with clients

• Advising clients at management level on business processes, data-driven solutions, and operational issues

• Accompanying complex projects from conception to implementation, including practical involvement and management

• Management and further development of existing client relationships as well as support for presales and pitch activities

• Shaping solution architectures and technical concepts in the Finance, BI, and Planning environment

• Leading, coaching, and developing the team to ensure operational excellence and strategic goals

• Shaping market positioning, growth, and future company strategy

Your Profile

• Completed university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Business Informatics, or related fields

• At least 5 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Reporting, Corporate Planning, and Consolidation, with several years in a leadership role with responsibility for teams or projects

• Experience in consulting, project advisory, or implementation projects, especially in Finance and BI environments, is an advantage

• Entrepreneurial thinking combined with a passion for active client consulting and operational project work

• Analytical and structured way of working with a high degree of personal responsibility

• Basic technical understanding in the area of BI, data models, or planning solutions is an advantage

• Very good German language skills for communication with the team and clients

• Willingness to travel and flexibility for client appointments and project support
