Managing Director (m/f/d)

The Cologne Institute for Management Consulting (KI.M) is part of Acture Germany. For many years, we have been supporting companies in areas of aptitude diagnostics, leadership development, and personnel and organizational development. In doing so, we combine technical excellence with a high degree of customer orientation and the personal commitment of our consultants, trainers and coaches.

At the same time, the next growth phase: In addition to our successful consulting business, we want to unlock new potentials, strategically further develop our business model, expand digital and hybrid offerings, and further strengthen cooperation within the Acture group. 

For this task, we are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded leader asManaging Director (m/f/d).

You will not simply lead an existing company: you will actively shape the future of KI.M and combine leadership, product and business development.

• You will take on the overall strategic, operational, and economic responsibility for KI.M and actively shape its future. As part of the German management team, you will report directly to the CEO Germany.
• You will lead and develop our consultants, trainers and coaches, provide them with orientation, and promote a culture of trust, personal responsibility, and constructive-appreciative collaboration– within KI.M and together with the colleagues from Acture Germany.
• You will intensify existing customer relationships, win new customers, and unlock additional growth opportunities. 
• You will strategically further develop the service portfolio of KI.M in the context of the Acture portfolio and provide impetus for new business areas and future-proof business models.
• You will also contribute your expertise in selected projects and strategically important customer relationships.
• You will strengthen the positioning of KI.M within the Acture group and in the market and act as an important link between KI.M and the teams of Acture Germany.

• You have many years of leadership and management experience and have already taken responsibility for teams, departments, business units, or comparable business units.
• You think entrepreneurially, understand economic contexts, and have a pronounced understanding of the market and customers.
• You bring experience in corporate and/or organizational consulting, ideally in leadership development, transformation, change-management, aptitude diagnostics, or personnel development, and have managed or operationally managed comparable projects.
• You combine strategic perspective with pragmatic implementation strength and manage to transform ideas into sustainable results.
• You have experience in expanding customer relationships, unlocking new business opportunities, and further developing products and business areas.
• You possess excellent communication and storytelling skills as well as a confident demeanor and can adapt accordingly to different target groups and stakeholders. This enables you to win over and inspire others for your ideas and visions.
• You have experience or a pronounced understanding of digital business models, hybrid service offerings, and scalable services.
• You are confident in dealing with dynamic, high-growth environments, have high self-motivation and pronounced organizational skills.
• Furthermore, you are willing to attend appointments and projects not only online but also on-site and have the corresponding travel readiness.
• You have a completed university degree (Diplom or Master) in Business Administration, Economics, Psychology, or comparable.
