Ray Sono is entering its next growth phase.

We are looking for an experienced financial leader who will complete our leadership team. As part of a cooperative management team, you will shape the strategic orientation and performance of our company together. We are seeking a leader who has long-standing experience in developing, designing, and implementing strategic business opportunities in the areas of digital transformation, automation, and technology-based solutions, and at the same time takes responsibility for organizational leadership, top-notch performance, and long-term corporate value creation.

This position is intended for leaders who think like owners and want to create long-term corporate value together with other executives and shareholders.

Your Impact
As Managing Director, you will:

• takes responsibility for the entire profit-and-loss statement and scalability of Ray Sono in the DACH region
• lead and develop high-performing interdisciplinary teams in the areas of Origination/commercial growth and Execution Excellence
• ensure delivery quality, operational excellence, and sustainable margin performance
• co-create the company culture, leadership standards, and organizational capabilities with your executive colleagues
• work closely with executives on strategy, performance, and long-term value creation
• contribute to the growth strategy and long-term positioning of the company together with the entire executive team
• initiate and close complex, high-value transformation programs
• build relationships at C-level (CEO, CIO, CTO, CDO, CMO, etc.)
• foster multi-year strategic customer growth
• identify new market opportunities in the areas of digitalization, automation, AI, and platform-based solutions
• takes responsibility for ambitious revenue and contribution targets

Why You

You come from:

• a background in digital and technology consulting and/or
• a leadership position in a digital agency or
• a leading role in the areas of automation, SaaS, or other technology services

Bring what sets you apart – what should be there:

• more than 5 years of experience in senior financial positions (CEO, partner, or a comparable leadership position) and more than 15 years of professional experience after graduation
• demonstrated success in closing complex deals in the area of digital or technological transformation
• a strong C-level network in the industrial B2B sector (manufacturing, logistics, pharmaceuticals, engineering)
• experience with P&L or contribution responsibility
• a well-developed financial instinct combined with strategic depth
• demonstrated experience in building, leading, and scaling high-performing teams
• successful track record in maintaining relationships with shareholders and working within governance structures
• experience in ensuring delivery quality and quality assurance in complex transformation programs
• You are entrepreneurial, credible at C-level, and feel comfortable leading complex business cycles while simultaneously building organizations, developing leaders, and maintaining operational excellence.
