Manager:in BCM (& IKS) (m/w/d)

Your Tasks

You will take over the setup and further development of our BCM (Business Continuity Management):

• Conceptualization and Further Development: Creation of BCM documentation (guidelines, handbooks, processes, etc.) and development of concepts and plans for improving and establishing a BCM.
• Communication: Information events and training sessions for departments.
• BIA and Risk Analysis: Accompaniment of the implementation of Business Impact Analyses to determine critical processes and their maximum downtime periods.
• Emergency Planning: Creation of business continuity, restoration, and restart plans in close and guiding cooperation with departments (especially IT).
• Scenario Building: Conceptualization of BCM scenarios and corresponding application on business continuity plans.
• Crisis Management: Establishment of a crisis team process and communication planning as an IKT-communication manager:in.
• Testing & Exercise: Conceptualization of a multi-year BCM test plan, as well as initiator:in and leader:in of the BCM tests.

In addition or optionally, you would take over the setup and later leadership of IKS (Internal Control System). This includes supporting departments in process documentation and design, identifying key processes, process risks, and implementing risk-oriented controls, creating and maintaining the Risk-Control-Matrix (RCM), as well as conducting self-assessments and effectiveness tests of the controls. You would form a bridge to Internal Auditing and annual financial statement auditors.

Your Profile

• Experience: At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in the field of BCM or Risk Management and IKS, ideally in the financial sector, a regulated tech environment, or consulting.
• Know-How: Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the area of BCM (e.g. MaRisk, DORA, BSI 200-4) to have.
• Hands-On Mentality: You are someone who is willing to take on a goal-oriented approach and independently realize concepts, plans, and tasks from start to finish.
• Big Picture: You have interest and motivation to think about topics from start to finish and implement them, and you don't shy away from complex connections and long-term tasks.
• New Topics: You like to think yourself into new or changing regulatory requirements and are willing to develop yourself thematically further.
• Languages: Conversational German and English.
