In this role, you will manage the fresh departments (butcher counter, fruits & vegetables, and bakery) and become the expert who elevates both the quality and motivation of the team to a higher level.
Additionally, you are a true people manager:
• You manage your team in a coaching manner and ensure everyone works together smoothly and efficiently.
• You coach, motivate, and develop your employees, from new starters to experienced colleagues.
• You ensure structure, clear agreements, and high engagement on the shop floor.
• You monitor the processes, quality, and hygiene of all fresh departments.
• You actively participate where needed - you combine leadership with a practical approach.
ProfileOur ideal Fresh Department Manager already has a solid foundation in retail, but doesn't necessarily have to have managed before. Or vice versa: you bring practical experience in coaching and motivating people, but you don't have a background in retail. In both cases, we will provide the right training, so you are fully prepared to grow in this role. What else do we expect from you?
• You have an excellent command of the Dutch language.
• You are bursting with energy, initiative, and entrepreneurship.
• You are meticulous and have a strong eye for detail.
• You are stress-resistant and can quickly switch between different situations.
• You are reliable and a role model for your team.OfferOur offer:
As a Fresh Department Manager, you will receive a challenging, varied role within a rapidly growing organization with a lot of responsibility. Additionally, we offer you:
• An immediate permanent contract (full-time 35h).
• An attractive gross salary of €2,598.56 per month.
• Meal vouchers €8
• Commuting allowance reimbursement
• Premiums for working after 6 PM
• A bonus scheme.
• Hospitalization insurance.
• A 5-day work week with varying shifts between 06:00 and 20:00, availability from Monday to Sunday is a must.
