Meet the Team: The Torc Technical Writing team serves all teams across Torc by writing and maintaining a variety of documentation that communicates complex information clearly, accurately, and concisely for the intended audience. The team works directly with document owners and subject matter experts (SMEs) to study the requirements and audience.  What You'll Do: You will be responsible for managing, participating in, and leading the work of a team of technical writers. The team supports the design, development, preparation, and maintenance of technical content including processes, workflows, standards, operating models, user manuals, tutorials, policies, business schedules, technical documentation, etc. Other job-related duties will include: • Lead, develop, and grow a team of high-performing technicians; • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that technical content is accurate, consistent, and meets the needs of the intended audience; • Develop and maintain technical writing standards, guidelines, and best practices; • Provide guidance and training to junior writers on technical writing principles, tools, and techniques; • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and innovations in autonomous vehicle technology and software development.
