Manager, Strategy and Performance – Fixed term or secondment to 31 May 2028 The Audit Office | Te Mana Arotake aims to improve trust and confidence in public services by giving New Zealanders an independent view of government spending and performance. As the statutory auditor of all public organisations, from councils to schools, the Auditor-General's work plays a major part in ensuring that our public sector remains one of the most trusted in the world. We're looking for a Wellington-based manager who can lead our Strategy and Performance team to deliver high-quality advice and support to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, working closely with senior leaders across government and the public sector. The role will involve leading a small team of analysts and advisors, providing strategic guidance and oversight to ensure that our work is well-planned, executed, and reported on effectively. You'll need to be able to think strategically, build strong relationships, and communicate complex ideas clearly.
