Description
- Manage the preparation and review of tax returns, BAS, and financial statements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Provide expert tax advice and planning strategies to clients in line with current legislation.
- Oversee and mentor junior staff, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional development.
- Handle tax compliance issues, including liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies.
- Identify opportunities to add value to clients through tax efficiency and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and implement best practices within the team.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management and clients as required.
Profile
A successful Manager Senior Tax Accountant should have:
- A relevant accounting or finance degree with CA or CPA qualifications.
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver tailored solutions.
- Experience in supervising and mentoring team members.
- Proficiency in tax and accounting software, such as MYOB or Xero.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive attitude and a commitment to professional development.
