Job Title: Senior Manager / Manager – Indirect Tax (GST & Litigation) Location: Kolkata Experience: 5 Years Preferred Background: Consulting / CA Firm / Advisory Firm Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager – Indirect Tax to lead GST advisory, litigation, assessments, and compliance engagements. The ideal candidate should have a strong consulting background and hands-on experience in handling complex GST matters, departmental audits, and appellate proceedings. Key Responsibilities: • Provide strategic guidance on indirect tax matters to clients across various industries. • Develop and implement effective GST strategies for clients, ensuring compliance with changing regulations. • Lead and manage teams of tax professionals to deliver high-quality services to clients. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of indirect tax services into overall client solutions. • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in GST laws, regulations, and court decisions, and apply this knowledge to provide innovative solutions to clients. Requirements: • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Law or related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience in indirect taxation, preferably in a consulting firm or CA firm. • Strong understanding of GST laws, regulations, and procedures. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
