Manager / Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts (Manufacturing)

We’re hiring a hands-on Manager / Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts to own manufacturing accounting, product costing, inventory control, and statutory compliance for our pharmaceutical and personal care manufacturing facility near Ahmedabad. You’ll work directly with Production, Stores, Procurement, QA/QC, and Dispatch to ensure financial accuracy at the factory floor level. This is an execution role with direct ownership of outcomes — not a coordination or review-only position. What You’ll Be Doing: * Manage all aspects of factory accounting, including month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, and variance analysis. * Develop and maintain standard costing systems for all products. * Oversee inventory control, including physical counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation. * Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations. * Manage all statutory audits and filings. * Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and controls. * Provide financial support and analysis to management. * Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. * Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities. * Implement and maintain internal controls. * Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals. * Oversee manufacturing costing and variance analysis. * Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. * Manage working capital. * Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives. What You’ll Bring: * CA / ICWA / MBA Finance with 8-12 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals or personal care. * Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting principles and practices. * Experience with product costing, inventory control, and variance analysis. * Thorough knowledge of statutory compliance requirements. * Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience with ERP systems. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
