Tasks

You are not just responsible for a single SAP system.

You work in a global and evolving SAP platform landscape, combining operational management with technology, transformation, and continuous improvement.

Your tasks include:

• Ensuring the stable, secure, and performant operation of the global SAP system landscape, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and other SAP platforms
• Operational SAP Basis administration with a focus on system monitoring, transport, job, print, and interface management, as well as performance analysis and troubleshooting
• Planning and technical implementation of upgrades, release changes, migrations, system copies, templates, and international rollout projects
• Administration and further development of modern SAP platforms such as SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Cloud ALM, and SAP RISE Private Cloud Edition
• Coordination and technical management of external service providers, hosting providers, and SAP consultants, as well as ensuring agreed-upon service quality
• Technical support for SAP system sizing and analysis of SAP license usage to identify optimization potentials
• Continuous development and automation of SAP operating processes with a focus on availability, security, compliance, performance, and future viability

Qualification

What should you bring?

We are looking for a personality with profound SAP Basis expertise and an interest in modern SAP technologies.

Ideally, you bring:

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
• Practical experience in SAP Basis administration as well as in operating complex SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA system landscapes
• In-depth knowledge of SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA, especially in monitoring, transport management, system copies, upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting
• Experience with hybrid SAP landscapes and modern SAP technologies such as SAP BTP and SAP Cloud ALM; knowledge of SAP RISE Private Cloud Edition is an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP security, roles and authorizations, certificate management, high availability, and backup and disaster recovery concepts
• Experience with technical SAP system sizing and evaluation of license usage
• Experience in coordinating and technically managing external service providers
• An independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working, as well as strong communication skills
• Very good German and English language skills
