Do you want to build at an operational level the people who strengthen the education of thousands of students? As Resource Manager at Lyceo in Leiden, you will have a key position within a national market leader that is growing rapidly. A job with direct impact, a lot of responsibility, and ample room to further professionalize recruitment and capacity management.

Tasks

Make a difference as Resource Manager in Leiden

As Resource Manager, you ensure that Lyceo has the right counselors now and in the future to support schools and students in a timely manner. You are ultimately responsible for their availability, quality, and employability. You are part of the management team and report directly to Lyceo's executive board. With the support of the data team, you determine which counselors are needed where and when. Based on this, you will have targeted recruitment actions carried out and provide direction for selection, matching, and onboarding. With KPIs, you monitor inflow, retention, fulfillment, and lead times and make targeted adjustments. You also optimize processes and lead a team including a Recruiter and a Matching and Onboarding Coordinator. Together with the Operations Manager, you ensure sufficient suitable people and successful execution of all educational projects. In their absence, you can take over each other's responsibilities.

In short, you take control of:

  • achieving sufficient targeted inflow and high-quality recruitment, selection, and onboarding;
  • connecting supply and demand based on region, field of expertise, type of education, availability, and willingness to travel;

  • managing the team and monitoring the recruitment budget.

Requirements

For this vacancy, you bring with you:

You translate recruitment objectives into concrete actions and use data to manage quality, inflow, and capacity. You combine historical results with expectations and market developments. Even when not everything is fixed, you look ahead, make choices, and adjust in a timely manner. As a manager, you are close to your team, provide direction, and motivate people with positive energy. Experience within recruitment, employment agencies, secondment, or comparable services helps you to quickly understand varying capacity demands.

  • minimum HBO work and thinking level;
  • experience with recruitment, staffing, and selection;
  • management experience within recruitment, capacity management, or a comparable service environment;
  • experience with data-driven management and KPIs within recruitment or capacity planning;
