Production Manager - Food Industry

A manufacturing company in the food industry, undergoing continuous development and operational optimization, is seeking a Production Manager to coordinate production activities and actively contribute to achieving performance, quality, and food safety objectives.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinates and organizes all production activities to ensure the production plan is met.
• Monitors performance indicators and implements measures to increase operational efficiency.
• Ensures compliance with quality, food safety, and occupational safety standards.
• Coordinates and develops subordinate teams, promoting a performance and collaboration-oriented culture.
• Collaborates with Planning, Logistics, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain departments to optimize operational flows.
• Manages the efficient use of resources and monitors adherence to established budgets.
• Participates in continuous improvement and operational transformation projects.

Candidate Profile

• Completed university studies, preferably in a technical or food-related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production coordination role, preferably in the food industry or FMCG.
• Experience in managing medium and large operational teams.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and food safety (HACCP, IFS, BRC are an advantage).
• Solid leadership, planning, and decision-making skills.
• Results-oriented and committed to continuous improvement.
• Good knowledge of English.
