Job description
We are recruiting a Production Manager in Bistrita-Nasaud for one of our clients, a company with over 17 years of experience in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and forecasting of short, medium, and long-term production, based on orders, equipment capacity, and personnel availability;
- Estimating the need for raw materials and consumables and transmitting the requirements to the Procurement department;
- Setting production priorities and adjusting the plan according to urgent orders or changes that occur;
- Coordinating the entire production flow, from pre-production and printing to finishing, cutting, sorting, and packaging;
- Organizing shifts and allocating personnel to equipment and workstations, to ensure continuity of activity;
- Participating in the recruitment and selection of production personnel;
- Monitoring performance indicators, such as productivity, scrap, material losses, and production times;
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and customer specifications, as well as managing non-conformities and complaints;
- Managing the production budget and identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency increase;
- Implementing measures for continuous improvement of production processes;
- Collaborating with the Maintenance department for planning maintenance and reducing unplanned downtime;
- Preparing reports on production plan realization, performance indicators, and costs;
- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety (SSM), Fire Safety (PSI), and environmental protection regulations in the production area.
Requirements:
- Completed higher education studies;
- 10 years of experience in production, with a significant portion in leadership positions;
- Relevant experience in production planning and forecasting, production capacity management, equipment loading, and material requirement estimation;
- Experience in direct coordination of large teams of operators, including in shift-organized activities;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Leadership, organization, and team coordination skills;
- Analytical thinking, orientation towards results and performance indicators;
- Planning ability, problem anticipation, and rapid decision-making;
- Communication and conflict management skills.
