Manager Product Development (m/w/d) FlixTrain

As Product Development Manager (m/w/d) FlixTrain, you design and optimize the onboard experience for passengers and crew members across the entire fleet. With strategic product thinking, structured implementation, and uncompromising quality standards, you ensure consistent standards and an excellent travel experience.
About the role
- Lead strategic product development and upgrade projects across the existing train fleet and successfully implement them
- Safeguard fleet standardization and structured implementation of technical, functional, and customer-oriented requirements
- As Product Owner, oversee refurbishment and upgrade initiatives, including requirement definition, prioritization, and specification of acceptance criteria
- Steer internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and technical partners, and coordinate decision-making processes
- Translate product improvements into scalable and operationally implementable solutions
- Foster cross-functional project teams along defined governance structures, milestones, and timelines
- Identify optimization potential in processes and drive the efficient implementation of defined standards forward
About you
- Bachelor's degree in economics, engineering, transportation, or a comparable qualification
- At least 4 years of experience in product management or project management, ideally with technical or rail-specific background
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and implementing complex projects
- Outstanding organizational and structuring skills, as well as experience leading cross-functional teams
- Safe stakeholder management and clear, target-oriented communication skills
- Analytical, solution-oriented thinking with a strong hands-on mentality
- Very good MS-Office skills, knowledge of design tools an advantage
- Fluent German and negotiation-safe English skills
