Manager Port Strategy & Masterplanning

Port of Antwerp-Bruges International (POABI) is a subsidiary of Port of Antwerp-Bruges, with the mission to develop a worldwide port network to strengthen both harbor platforms in Antwerp and Brugge. We achieve this through training, consultancy, management, and investment projects. As such, POABI is actively involved as a joint venture partner in the ports of Duqm (Oman), Porto do Açu (Brazil), Lumut (Malaysia), also terminal- and logistics activities in San Pedro (Côte d'Ivoire). Furthermore, we are involved in various other projects and initiatives. The manager port strategy & masterplanning will be responsible for developing and implementing a global port strategy, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion, and ensuring the successful integration of new ports into our network. This includes analyzing market trends, identifying potential partners, and negotiating agreements. The manager will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the performance of our existing port investments, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to optimize their operations. In addition, the manager will work closely with our internal stakeholders, including the management team, to ensure that our global port strategy is aligned with our overall business objectives. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional who has a strong background in port development, logistics, or a related field. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and have experience in developing and implementing strategic plans. A master's degree in a relevant field is required, as well as at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
