Leadership
As a leader, you give direct and indirect (via the logistics team leader) guidance to a team of 19 employees, divided over the sub-departments Planning, Internal Logistics, Receipts, and Expeditions. You guide the team in line with the desired organizational culture, where coaching leadership stands central. You have an eye for the sustainable deployment of your employees and regularly conduct evaluation-, development-, and absenteeism discussions. Furthermore, you ensure optimal staffing levels and closely monitor the temporary agency to guarantee the necessary flexibility.

Operational management
You are responsible for the daily operational management of the team. Hereby, safety, quality, and environmental regulations stand central. You develop and implement the logistics policy and support in escalations and issue management, where you thoroughly analyze the cause and propose structural solutions. You monitor performance on key performance indicators such as Safety, Scheduling Conformance, OTIF, Budget, Absenteeism, and Inventory Management.

Tactical & strategic
Besides your operational role, you make a significant contribution at the tactical and strategic level. You advise the management team on supply chain policy and its implementation. You take care of process optimization and cost control, propose investments, and follow them up. You set systems in place to ensure the planning process runs efficiently, for example, regarding run lengths, material requirements, and personnel deployment. You stimulate a culture of involvement and pro-activity within your team and take appropriate measures when deviations or calamities occur, which you report according to the agreed procedures.

Team details
You are part of the Plant Management as well as the Planning Team of the Business Group Professional. You report to the Manager Supply Planning Encaps, as well as the Plant Manager Meppel.

• Afgeronde HBO / WO opleiding, bij voorkeur (Technische) Bedrijfskunde of Logistiek;
• Minimaal 3 jaar relevante leidinggevende ervaring;
• Kennis van en inzicht in productieprocessing (bij voorkeur binnen Food) en ERP systemen (SAP).
• Ervaring met de implementatie van een nieuw ERP systeem en kennis van OMP is een pre (OMP);
• Uitstekende kennis van de Nederlandse & Engelse taal;
• Sterke focus op klanttevredenheid en het continue verbeteren van processen;
• Enthousiast, en in staat om collega's, management en externe leveranciers te motiveren en verbinden;

You will receive a project agreement for 3 months and can start working as a freelancer. The hourly rate for this role lies between €75 and €85. You have a 38-hour workweek. Furthermore, you will collaborate with a super cool organization!
