The Machineseeker Group operates the leading network for used machinery and commercial vehicles in Europe with the online marketplaces Maschinensucher, Machineseeker, TruckScout24, Gebrauchtmaschinen, and Werktuigen. More than 12,000 providers currently list over 300,000 machines on the platforms. Over 15 million monthly visitors generate an annual brokered inquiry volume of more than 120 billion euros. The company has been growing profitably every year since 1999, so we are continuously strengthening our team in Essen.

For our team at the Essen location, we are looking for a Manager Operations Online Auctions (m/f/d) in full-time or part-time, effective immediately.

We consistently rely on Working from Office. More innovations ('coffee machine conversations'), better working conditions (broadband, air conditioning, 3 monitors, large desks, etc.), optimal onboarding, higher retention, creation of company culture (including chef, gym, and trainer), as well as a clear separation of office/home.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the smooth execution of daily tasks in the online auction business
• You research information and create high-quality portfolios of machines up for auction
• You contribute ideas for product development and process improvements and help optimize our new sales channel
• You actively embody entrepreneurship and drive our digital business model forward
• You will be part of a dynamic team with many development opportunities

Qualifications

• You have a university degree in economics, engineering, or a related field, or are close to completing one
• You possess technical understanding and a high affinity for digital business models
• You have a quick grasp and an eye for detail
• Your German and English language skills are excellent, both written and spoken
• You ideally already have experience in mechanical engineering, digital, or trading companies
