In Schüttorf, we are in an exciting growth phase. In addition to ongoing operations, the further development of the site, including a new construction project, is on the agenda. For this, we are looking for an experienced leader from contract logistics who can motivate people, create structures, and successfully lead the site to the next stage of development.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the operational management of the site, including warehouse, transport, and customer service
• Leadership, motivation, and further development of around 50-60 employees and on-site managers
• Active participation in and support of the planned new construction and expansion project
• Ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, including KPI management, budget responsibility, and performance management
• Further development of processes, structures, and standards with a focus on growth, quality, and productivity
• Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships and identifying new business potential

Qualifications

• Several years of leadership experience in contract logistics with responsibility for larger teams
• Experience in leading at least 50 employees in an operational logistics environment
• Demonstrable success in building, transforming, or developing logistics sites
• Experience in the chemical sector or with chemical-related logistics services is a big plus
• Strong leadership qualities, decisiveness, and the ability to win people over for change
• Very good German and English skills (both C1)
